Russian leader Vladimir Putin said relations with the United States. He said that relations have become worse every day, they degrade. The Russian President noted that the United States is not tired to develop and adopt new sanctions against Russia. However, the Russian leader expressed hope that sooner or later, the US will prevail common sense.
On the eve of the Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov expressed the opinion that miracles in relations between Russia and the United States should not be expected. He said that now the actions of both countries is unpredictable, whereas during the cold war, steps both sides can be calculated in advance. Therefore, the current situation creates a danger.
Vladimir Putin stressed that in contrast to relations with America, Russia cooperated closely with China and these relations were “good and high”. The leader of the Russian Federation said that last year the trade turnover between the countries amounted to $108 billion.
However, at the upcoming G20 summit, which will take place in Japan, the Russian leader hopes to resolve some of the issues with US and to prepare the ground for further sustainable cooperation in the field of Economics.
