The Ukrainian public is outraged by the statement of the Russian President.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine and Russia need to withdraw from the regime of mutual sanctions, because “we love Ukraine”. He said this speaking at a session of the international discussion club “Valdai”.
He noted that the EU sanctions after the annexation of Crimea joined Ukraine, which was followed by retaliatory sanctions from Russia.
“The President (of Ukraine) to tell me why you did it. Say, “you imposed sanctions against us”, it’s amazing,” said Putin.
“The realization that this was an intolerable situation and her need to go becomes obvious,” – said Putin.
According to him, it is obvious to most citizens of the Ukraine.

“We love Ukraine. And the Ukrainian people, I do believe fraternal, if not one of the Russian people. Russian nationalists do not like and Ukrainian not like it, but this is my point of view. Sooner or later it will happen – not the interstate, and from the point of view of restoring relationships. Sooner the better, and we all do,” said he.
