In the location of UN peacekeepers on the Russian-Ukrainian border, Russia does not see sense, said the Gatilov.
Russia sees no point in deploying a security of the UN mission on the Russian-Ukrainian border.
In an interview with TASS said the Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Gennady Gatilov.
“They (Ukrainian representatives) want the deployment of UN personnel throughout the territory of Ukraine, including the Russian-Ukrainian border. Russia is not a party in this conflict, so there is no point in deploying peacekeepers on the border,” – said the representative of the Russian foreign Ministry.
Gatilov also said that Moscow relies on the Minsk agreement, in which “there are a number of issues that must be resolved before the case goes to the conversation about the Russian-Ukrainian border”.
