The Russian leader noted that every country has the right to determine their own destiny
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that countries should not interfere in the Affairs of other States, as it creates only chaos.
Despite Russia’s intervention in the internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Russian leader noted that every country has the right to determine their own destiny.
“In today’s world, there can be formulaic development models. Every state has a natural and undeniable right to determine their own destiny, as enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations. Attempts to intervene in the Affairs of sovereign countries without the knowledge of and regard for national specificities only bring chaos, ” said Putin.
He gave examples of when the intervention of other countries has led to the destabilization of the situation.
“Such thoughtless interference has led to the destabilization of the situation in the middle East and North Africa, the escalation of tensions in the region, the growth of the terrorist threat,” – he stressed.
We will remind, recently, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on amendments to the Provision on procedure of military service. The document allows to send foreigners and Russians mercenaries to fight outside of Russia.
The Russian leader said that the conflict should be resolved through compromise. He noted that a compromise on Ukraine are the Minsk agreements.
As he told former presidential adviser Andrei Illarionov, Putin does not want to see the Donbas as separate from the Russian Republic of Transnistria type, and he wants to merge it with Russia and is ready to sponsor the region.
