Vladimir Putin corrected the reservation of the Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev, twisting up South Korea with Indonesia.
At a meeting on development of agricultural sector, the Minister spoke about the success of Germany in export of pork. He stressed that Germany annually sells more than three million tons of meat in the markets of China, Indonesia and Japan.
“Indonesia is a Muslim country, pork is not” — said Putin.
“South Korea. What’s the difference?”, — said Tkachev continued his speech.
Putin laughed and covered his face with his hands.
