The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov has compared the transfer of the Crimea under the control of Ukraine with the surrender of the Nazi army on the Russian Leningrad.
This statement Lavrov made on August 11 a meeting with participants of the all-Russian youth educational forum “Territory meanings on the Klyazma”.
According to the head of the Russian foreign Ministry, reasoning that it was not necessary to “join” the Crimea, are “in line with the idea that it was necessary to pass Leningrad to the Nazis”.
“Remember, recently there was a dispute also from the perspective of pragmatism, someone on some of our channels, a liberal, in my opinion, began to develop the idea of whether it was necessary to hold the Leningrad, would it not be easier to pass it, then we would not have so many victims. I think it is from the same story – the argument that it was necessary to throw the Russian in Crimea, the Russians in Donbass”, – said Lavrov.
“Crimea in the hands of the Nazis, who carried out a coup in Kiev, and this wave it’s current leadership, it would, I believe, is criminal,” he said.
