The President of Russia Vladimir Putin expressed readiness to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN. This is stated in the telegram that the Russian President sent on the occasion of the August 15 anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
“I assure you that to discuss topical issues of bilateral relations and important regional issues, is willing to meet with you in the near future”, – quotes the text of the telegram to the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA).
Putin also expressed confidence that Russia and the DPRK “will be able to develop mutually beneficial cooperation”.
