Putin called the most effective response to Russia sanctions

Russian President Vladimir Putin called favorable conditions for business development in the country the best response to external constraints. He stated this at the enlarged meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

“You see the conditions in which we live and develop, and to answer all external restrictions can only be one effective — to create the most favorable conditions for economic development in the country”, — quotes the President TASS. Putin also noted that the creation of conditions is “national, state”.

Restrictive measures against Russia introduced a number of Western countries in 2014. The reason for the sanctions was the joining of Crimea to Russia. All subsequent years, the sanctions list was expanded and supplemented.

Earlier “URA.RU” reported that the U.S. Congress has published a new draft law on additional sanctions against Russia. The document envisages a ban on the deal with a sovereign debt of Russia. The measures will apply to Russian financial institutions that contributed to “the intervention of the government of the Russian Federation in the democratic process or elections in any country”. Made a section on the introduction of restrictions in relation to investors who invest in Russian projects for liquefied natural gas (LNG) abroad.
