Russian President Vladimir Putin at the first meeting with Lithuanian counterpart Dalia Grybauskaite announced the “list of requirements” for the country.
This very Grybauskaite said in an interview with Delfi.
“From the very first meeting with Mr Putin, I received a list of requirements that needs to comply with Lithuania to build a nuclear power plant, be sure to cooperate with them, etc.” – said the President of Lithuania.
“It was not offer to be friends or to co-operate – or do you kneel and perform, or you are the enemy. I could not accept such relations,” she said.
Grybauskaite noted that to establish friendly relations with Russia will not succeed until Moscow “looks at its neighbors or a small country like that.”
The question, voiced Russia later any “ultimatums”, Grybauskaite said that “no one else, and especially not listening.”
Grybauskaite took office as President in 2009 and her meeting with Putin took place in 2010-m to year.
