The portal autohome.com.cn published photos of a new modification of the compact MPV Volkswagen Touran (in China, the model of the last generation is called the Touran L), received the prefix to the name Cross.
This all terrain version with a “combat” kit.

According to the publication, Cross-variant differs from the usual compact MPV dimensions. 4537 millimeters in length, and 1834 1682 millimeters width and height “crossover” to 10 millimeters long, five millimeters wider and 23 mm higher. In addition, the wheelbase has not changed and is equal to 2791 mm.
Probably, the novelty has slightly increased ground clearance. In the engine range is expected to include the same engines as in the standard line of “Turan” — in China is 1.4 – and 1.8-liter turbine units with capacity of 150 and 180 horsepower.
