Hyundai showed the new hydrogen-powered SUV.
Hyundai has revealed in Seoul new crossover fuel cell FCEV fourth generation. As noted, this pre-production prototype, because of the name he does not yet have, but is based on the concept of Hyundai Fuel Cell FE.
Unlike early models of the ix35 Fuel Cell, the new machine has 3 identical tanks for hydrogen (ix35 there were 2 different volume). In this case, it is stated that the crossover will start even at -30.
As noted, the efficiency of the fuel cell system grew from 55.3% to 60%, the power capacity increased by 20% and amounted to 163 HP And the car’s range on one tank is “more than 580 km on the Korean test standards”. For comparison, the ix35 claimed mileage is 594 km and the concept FE had intended to walk the 800-kilometer mark.
