Subaru carries new 2018 Crosstrek/XV at the new York auto show.
Subaru is debuting in North America in 2018 the new Crosstrek (XV) at the upcoming new York auto show. The car is based on a completely new global platform, the company promises to provide the best security and performance, greater comfort and driving pleasure.
The new crossover Subaru got an extra kit in the form of overlays on the wheel arches and rocker panels, along with underbody protection and roof rails, the complex complements the durable and reliable type of SUV. In General, the car has increased by 1.5 cm in length, 2.3 cm in width, and the wheelbase was stretched 3 inches to 2 664 mm to improve interior comfort.
Like the new Impreza, Crosstrek dashboard has become more modern and ergonomic. The infotainment system is now available with Apple Car Play and Android Auto as standard. The rear seats feature 60/40 split, and the wide tailgate makes access to the trunk more convenient.
As we mentioned, a car built on a global platform last iteration that made it compared to the previous model, 70 percent stiffer, offering great straight-line stability, maneuverability and comfort. According to the statement of Subaru, the new architecture has also allowed to obtain the high grade of noise isolation.
Buyers will be offered only one engine — the updated 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder petrol unit with direct fuel injection, which develops 152 HP, and offered with either a manual transmission or a CVT. The latter now has seven speeds in manual mode and steering column switch.
2018 new Subaru Crosstrek has a full range of active safety systems EyeSight, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, warning lane motion detector blind spot and rear traffic alert. The power steering with the turning lights are available as options. To make the new car more attractive, the automaker has added active vectoring Active Torque Vectoring is standard on all specification levels. 2018 new Subaru Crosstrek will be offered in three trim levels — 2.0 i Base, Premium and Limited. In North America he will go to the end of this summer.
