Test drove the updated Chevrolet Malibu.
The current generation Chevrolet Malibu appeared three years ago. While Chevrolet has no plans to release a new generation of this model, but to update it still decided.
In our opinion, you have to think about a new generation Malibu, as its sales, however, sales of other sedans reduced. Why? The main reason is that motorists almost all countries EN masse are switching to crossovers.
Updated Malibu, judging by espionage photos, will receive minor changes in appearance. For example, we reviewed the restyled front fascia, with new headlights, a new lower grille and a new rear bumper. In the cabin there is unlikely to be any major changes. Motorists will offer a new finish and updated infotainment system.
As for the engine range, it will probably remain the same, but it is possible that it will be a new unit. We are talking about the 1.6 l diesel turbo engine, which is now equipped with a Chevy Cruze. Buyers will be offered and a hybrid version.
In the revised Chevrolet Malibu will appear in early 2018. This means that his debut will likely be held in January 2018, during the auto show in Detroit. How much it will cost – is not yet known. Malibu is now in the base costs 22 $ 555.
