In Morocco in a stampede during the distribution of humanitarian aid in the city of Essaouira 15 people were killed, nine more injured.
The incident occurred while distributing food to the needy in this village, in the district of Sidi Boilly.
“Food handed out humanitarian mission, which brought aid from Casablanca. At the point of dispensing has occurred the crush in which has fallen more than two dozen people. Of these, 15 women died from suffocation. Nine women suffered”, – is spoken in the message.
The cause of the stampede could be the lack of control of the humanitarian organization over the process of distributing aid.
