“Civil society organizations and individual civil society representatives stated concern about the first decisions of the President in office and outlined “a list of possible “red lines” – if the President breaks them, it will inevitably lead to the deterioration of internal and external situation of our country”, — stated in the message.

The statement noted: “We are acutely do not share the will of the President to surround himself with representatives of the regime of former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, contrary to the principles of lustration, as well as by people without appropriate competencies and such, with which Vladimir Zelensky associated business interests.”

In particular, the authors pointed out such “red lines” for Zelensky

the holding of a referendum regarding the format of talks with the Russian Federation or of the principles of peaceful settlement;
procrastination, sabotage or refusal from the strategic course for membership in EU and NATO;
large-scale redistribution of property in the interests of a group of persons;
the revision of the language act;
the resumption of Russian social networks and Russian TV channels in Ukraine.

As noted, the statement was signed by the Ukrainian crisis media centre, the Institute of mass information, “Detector Media”, the writer Yuri Makarov, a former Deputy foreign Minister Danylo Lubkivsky, other social organizations and individual representatives of civil society.
