The French protested against the Makron, and against Le Pen.
In Paris, about 300 people opposed won the election of Emmanuel Macron, and against the loser of marine Le Pen. The protests began last night after the announcement of preliminary results of presidential elections.
Similar protests were also held in the cities of Nantes, Grenoble and Strasbourg. The protests escalated into clashes with police, and police were forced to use tear gas.
Most of the detainees were released, nine people as of Monday morning remained under arrest on charges of vandalism.
As reported, Emmanuel macron won in the second round of the presidential elections in France with a score of 66.06% (20.7 million votes). His rival from the National front of marine Le Pen scored 33,94% (10.6 million votes).
