Protests in Hamburg: around 200 police officers were injured

Police reported 71 delayed with the start of the protests.

To stop the riots and disperse the violent protesters, the police used water cannons. In the afternoon of 7 July, the police reported 71 detained since the start of protests, 15 people were taken into custody.

Police also reported that 20 of the protesters attacked the security at the Hyatt, which houses the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the President of South Korea, moon Jae-In and the Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull. Besides, militiamen picked up in boats 22 Greenpeace activists who swam in the restricted area on the Elbe.
