PrivatBank before nationalization has issued loans worth one billion dollars

The loans were issued to companies controlled by individuals associated with the former owner of PrivatBank Igor Kolomoisky.

Before the nationalization of PrivatBank, a number of companies got loans worth over a billion dollars, says OCCRP with reference to the book loans institutions for 2015-2016.

According to them, loans were granted to 28 in Kharkiv companies, which were controlled by individuals associated with the former owner of PrivatBank Igor Kolomoisky.

The loans totaling about 185 million dollars was unsecured, which is a serious violation of banking practices.
It is also noted that almost all of the companies that received loans, was registered in 2015, all but one of its authorized capital is equal to a thousand hryvnia, which confirms the fictitious nature of these companies.

In addition, the owners of Kharkiv firms were top-managers of enterprises controlled by Kolomoisky.
Reporters listed the names of the owners of these firms:

Victor Kindel (former head of Dniproavia) – 154,100 million dollars;

Vyacheslav Placesof (CEO Optima 770) – 136,800 million dollars;

Ivan Makowichuk (Director of travel company Scorzonera-Transcarpathia) – 154,400 million dollars;

Sergei Kazarian (former head of Tsyurupynsk Agropostach) – 155,600 million dollars;

Vladimir Golovko (head of Zaporizhnaftoprodukt) – 141,200 million dollars;

Igor Malanchuk (CEO dressings Columbine) – 148,800 million dollars;

Vadim andreyuk (Manager Ukrnafta) – 115 $ 300,000.

Two more people – Anatoly Derkach and Vitali Like – turned out to be dummies. One of them worked at the gas station, the other a taxi driver. Two they received 50,600 million dollars.

All companies were liquidated in early 2017. Analysis of other loans continues.
