Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased by 1.3%.
Consumer prices in Ukraine in October compared with the previous month increased by 1.2% since the beginning of the year inflation amounted to 11.5%.
This is evidenced by the data published on the web portal of the State statistics service of Ukraine (gosstat).
According to the Agency, in the consumer market in October, prices for foodstuffs and soft drinks rose 1.1%. Most (14.9% and 10.2%), the prices of eggs and bacon. 5.5 to a 1.5% increase in prices for milk, butter, sour cream, cheese, dairy products, rice, beef, bread. At the same time, 6,5-0,7% cheaper buckwheat, sugar, fruits, vegetables, and pork.
Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased by 1.3%.
Prices (tariffs) for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 0.5%. The reason for this was primarily the increase in tariffs for water supply by 2.1%, Sewerage – by 1.1%, the maintenance of houses and adjoining areas by 0.4%.
Higher prices for transport as a whole by 2.4%, mainly due to rising costs of fuel and oils by 4.4%. However, there was a reduction in the cost of transportation by railway passenger transport by 5.5%.
In the communication sector, prices grew by 0.8% due to a rise in local telephony 7.1%.
