LG G6 became the first smartphone with support for Dolby Vision
Dolby Laboratories, Inc. announced that it presented at the MWC in Barcelona 2017 flagship smartphone LG G6 became the first mobile device with support for Dolby Vision with high dynamic range.
Along with this, Netflix and Amazon will be the first services, a streaming video with Dolby Vision on smartphones and tablets. Recall, LG G6 got a wide angle 5.7-inch display FullVision with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of QHD+, and support for Dolby Vision delivers a more lifelike image with bright lighting, clear contrast and rich colors. Everything else, LG G6 also supports Dolby Audio.

Dolby Vision offers a new quality standard for mobile video, delivering high image quality, which is achieved due to the cooperation of Dolby with anyone who is responsible for providing entertainment content – the authors of the movies and TV shows, services an online broadcast and equipment manufacturers.
