Positions of AFU were shelled from Grad from the territory of the school

The enemy was shelling from artillery and Grad MLRS.

Tonight units of the separatists used against the APU rear areas of heavy weaponry, banned by the Minsk agreements, reports the press center of staff ATO.

“From the beginning of the current day, the enemy continued provocative shelling positions of our troops, including artillery of 152 mm caliber. At the same time, from two to four o’clock in the morning the fire was not only on the advanced positions of our troops, but also in the rear areas, which are located deep in our territory, which endangers the lives and health of local residents”, – stated in the message.

The military claimed that the main attacks on the enemy was from the settlement Kirovsk with positions in the local school.

“Such actions of the enemy sought to bring back the fire and to accuse the Ukrainian side in the shelling of the civilian population. This once again showed that militants continue to use local residents as hostages to achieve their provocative purposes,” – said the headquarters.
