Head coach of Portugal Fernando Santos announced the list of players who will travel to Russia for the matches of the confederations Cup.
Initially in the extended application the reigning Champions of Europe was 24 players. It proved unnecessary midfielder “inter” joão mário, who due to injury was not included in the final squad.
The Portugal team for the confederations Cup:

Portugal in the Champions Euro 2016 for the first time will take part in the confederations Cup and will be one of three (Russia and Chile) debutants of the tournament.
In the group stage of the confederations Cup Cristiano Ronaldo and company will play against Mexico (June 18, Kazan), Russia (21 June, Moscow) and New Zealand (24 June, Saint Petersburg).
