Former Deputy head of the presidential Administration of times of Victor Yanukovych Andriy Portnov said that during interrogation the Prosecutor’s office spoke about the role of the head of the Department of special investigation, Sergey Gorbatyuk and management of the GPU in the concealment of mass murder on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kiev in 2014. He noted that he had conducted the interrogation in 3.5 hours.
According to the lawyer, the investigator of the GPU will be more work in connection with the need for investigators to verify this information, to question their own leaders and make information in the register of pre-judicial investigations.
At the same time, Mr. Yan said that Portnov has not provided any specific information about the alleged concealment by the prosecutors of mass murder on the Maidan.
“Yes, he was, as a witness. Morning advocate (Portnov — ed.) called the investigator and asked if he could come earlier, since Portnov will not be in on Monday in Ukraine. The investigator objected, and they came. He was questioned and gave an additional agenda because there are still questions,” — said Gorbatyuk.
