Porsche 911 Carrera T was easier and more concise.
The German company Porsche has released a new sports car 911 Carrera T, thus reviving the concept of the same name coupe 1968. This means that the new product is easier and shorter, but retained the original drive and power.
Rear-wheel drive Carrera T was lighter by 20 kilograms compared to the original model. For the sake of reducing weight, engineers have installed a lighter rear window, replaced door locks, and simplified the insulation and removed some of the rear seats. In addition, the new PASM sports suspension that allows the adjustment of the shock absorbers. Depending on road conditions and driving style, she changes the damping force.
The heart of the car was the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 370 HP paired with a seven-speed manual transmission acceleration takes 4.5 seconds, and with a robotic – 4.2 seconds. Top speed is 293 km/h with the “mechanics” and 291 km/h with “robot”.
The new Porsche 911 Carrera T will be available in January 2018 with a price tag of 114 thousand dollars.
