Poroshenko told the date of the talks in the Normandy format

Poroshenko will demand a ceasefire.

Monday, July 24, will be held telephone talks of leaders of the countries “Norman Quartet” (Ukraine, Russia, Germany, France).

This was announced by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko during a press conference following the meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.

According to Poroshenko, during the negotiations it will require real maintenance of the ceasefire regime along the contact line in the Donbas.

“In case of failure of the implementation of the decisions of the “Big seven”, which was achieved in Italy, including – and the strengthening of sanctions”, – he added.

We will remind, for last days the situation in the zone of hostilities in the East of Ukraine escalated. The militants opened heavy fire on positions of ATO forces under Krasnogorovka, using tanks, artillery and Grad.
