President Petro Poroshenko says that in 2014, during the start of the unrest in the Donbass border intelligence guard saved his life. The head of state said in a speech on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the creation of the intelligence service.
According to Poroshenko, during his campaign trip to Lugansk in April 2014, the intelligence officers of the state border service saved his life.
“During his presidential campaign, when I was in Lugansk, just 200 metres from the captured building SBU in Izvarino, dolzhanskiy can actually say that the border intelligence just saved my life. And that is why I am here today. In order to Express my sincere respect and gratitude, because the level of professionalism of intelligence officers, border guards extremely high,” he said.
The President also added that pornresource showed their best side during the annexation of the Crimea, one of the first to discover the Russian presence on the Peninsula.
