The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the framework of his visit to Georgia visited the boundary line with Tskhinvali region occupied by Russia Georgian territories. This is stated on his page in Facebook.
So, his press Secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on his page: “the President arrived in Odzisi on the line of Russian occupation of Georgian South Ossetia (Tskhinvali region). The photo shows the base of the Russian FSB”.
In turn, Poroshenko said that the contact line in the Tskhinvali region – the result of occupation policy of Russia.
“In the eyes of the people who were behind barbed wire, tears and despair. On the demarcation line – a humanitarian disaster, people do not have the basic rights to health care and education for children. They have no hope for any progress until there is Russia”, – wrote Poroshenko.
He stressed that Russian aggression “gives more motivation to fight for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and Georgia.
“We will fight together to eliminate these barbed wire”, – added the head of state.
