The head of state met with the delegates of the protest action in Kiev.
President Petro Poroshenko refused to meet with a group of deputies supporting the protest action under the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by MP from the faction Block Petro Poroshenko Mustafa Nayem on his page on Facebook on the evening of October 18.
“The President did not want to meet with representatives of the campaign “Big political reform”. Come along with me Svetlana zalischuk, Serhiy Leshchenko, Yuri Levchenko and Yuriy Derevyanko. The President has decided that he wants to meet with part of our group (except Levchenko and Derevyanko), which is unacceptable to us. However, the President has already know what purpose we came,” – wrote the MP.
According to Nayem, since the beginning of the action there is progress in fulfilling the requirements of the protesters.
Earlier it was reported that Poroshenko is ready to meet personally with one of the participants of protest actions under the Verkhovna Rada Deputy Mustafa Nayem.
