The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko predicts an increase in financial assistance to Ukraine from the USA and the deepening of military-technical cooperation after the adoption of the law on national security.
“After the adoption of this law (on national security – ed.) in the near future I will have a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of defense. We will increase financial support for defense of our state, improvement of military-technical cooperation and strengthening of the Ukrainian army and the entire security sector and defense”, – said Poroshenko, presenting the new head of the Donetsk regional military-civil administration in Kramatorsk.
The head of state stressed that it is important to get done before the summit Ukraine-EU, scheduled for July 9, and the NATO summit, scheduled for July 11-12.
