The visa regime between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia will be simplified. This was stated on Wednesday, November 1, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, wrapping up the meeting with the king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul-Aziz al Saud.
“My king has agreed that we strongly reduce the rate of payment of fees for visas and move in order to facilitate the opportunity for businessmen, entrepreneurs, tourists for the fact that the Saudis opened up a fantastic Ukraine, and the Ukrainians had the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia,” – said Poroshenko.
He noted that visas to Saudi Arabia for the Ukrainians are the most expensive among all countries of the world, and therefore for the Saudis to Ukraine. The President also reported on a possible simplification of the procedure of Hajj for Muslims living in Ukraine.
“We have agreed that we will do the maximum simplification of the procedures of Hajj, and I do not exclude that the Ukrainian side we will develop several initiatives that will protect the rights of Ukrainians of Muslims,” the President said.
