On the eve of German Chancellor spoke with Putin.
President Petro Poroshenko will hold on Friday a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson.
He said this at celebrations on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic service of Ukraine.
“Immediately after our meeting, I held a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Today held a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson” he said.
Recall, December 21, Merkel held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which they discussed the conditions of the return of the Russian officers in the Joint center for coordination and control of the ceasefire regime in the Donbas.
On 18 December, the Russian foreign Ministry announced the recall of representatives from SCCC. Russia said that the Ukrainian authorities have blocked the “documentary regulation of the functioning of the SCCC”, and created “a tense moral-psychological situation” for the Russian officers who were part of the center. In this regard, Ukraine has withdrawn their representatives at SCCC in the controlled territory.
The US special envoy in negotiations on Ukraine Kurt Volker has called Russia’s withdrawal from SCCC shame. The representative of Ukraine in the working sub-group on the security of the Trilateral contact group Yevhen Marchuk said that after the RF output of the SCCC attempts to achieve ceasefire in Donbass are doomed to failure.
