President Petro Poroshenko said that the increase in profits of the “International investment Bank” is not associated with the cooperation with state authorities.
About this Poroshenko said during a press conference on Sunday.
“Very correct to say that the profit of the Bank grew by a few tenths or hundreds of percent. The profit of the Bank (IIB – Ed.) goes far beyond the first twenty-thirty and measured capital is absolutely reasonable numbers,” – said Poroshenko.
“Why did this happen, I also checked. Because last year during the inspection the National Bank, and here all were equal, was accrued reserves, and the Bank sent a profit on formation of reserves, fulfilling the requirements of the NBU. Now, when the reserves are formed, he showed a profit,” he said.
According to him, the profit is not linked to cooperation with any state position and the Bank is in the company’s asset management, as required by law.
“Why don’t we have to present it abroad? Because it is necessary to change the registration, Ukrainian residents in a blind trust do not take” – summed Poroshenko.
