Poroshenko denied secret talks with Putin

Poroshenko has denied that he is secretly talking and joking with Putin.

The Russian newspaper “Kommersant” reports that the presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Petro Poroshenko continues to talk on the phone — and the last such conversation took place in the first half of April.

According to the interlocutor of Kommersant in Moscow, the conversation allegedly took place in “the respectful and correct way” and the heads of state are periodically “switched to playfully ironic tone”.

“The presidents were forced to joke, not to quarrel and not to tell each other sharps,”— said the source.

According to the newspaper, the conversation concerned the situation in the Donbass: “to Any specific agreements could not be reached and the only issues on which the sides managed to move forward was “some of the humanitarian aspects”.

At the same time, the Kommersant’s source, allegedly close to the environment of Petro Poroshenko, said that supposedly it was about the exchange of prisoners, deliveries to the Donbass food, water and electricity, as well as on the payment of pensions to Ukrainian residents ORDO.
