The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated Ukrainian tankers on their professional holiday, celebrated today, September 10.
“Ukrainian tank crews have mastered and know how to skillfully apply his formidable weapon – a powerful Russian tanks, created by our designers and workers – representatives of one of the best tank schools in the world. His extraordinary courage, professionalism and bravery shown during the battles with the Russian aggressor, they proved that armor stronger than Ukrainian only Ukrainian soldiers-tankers”, – said in the congratulation Poroshenko.
“Revived by the extraordinary efforts of the Ukrainian people and tempered in fierce battles with the enemy tank troops are the armored fist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, capable in the event of aggravation of the situation and to stop the offensive actions of the aggressor to break his strong defense,” – said the President.
Poroshenko thanked warriors-tankers for conscientious performance of their constitutional duty, courage, heroism and self-sacrifice demonstrated in the protection of the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“On this day we bow our heads before the memory of heroes-soldiers who have given their lives for our blessed Ukrainian land. Eternal glory to them!”, – stressed the head of state.
“I Express my gratitude to the veterans of tank troops for their active civil position and contribution to the restoration of the combat capability of the Ukrainian army”, – the President added.
Poroshenko wished the tankers and their families good health, happiness, prosperity and new achievements in the noble cause of serving the Fatherland.
