The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated Ukrainians with their professional holiday Day of the teacher.
The words he wrote on his page in Facebook.
“I sincerely congratulate the Ukrainian journalists on their professional holiday. Thank you for your invaluable contribution to the future of the Ukrainian state – our children,” he wrote.
We will remind, according to the tradition of teacher’s Day in Ukraine is celebrated on the first Sunday of October, which in 2017 would fall on a Sunday 1 October. Date of celebration was set by the decree of the President of Ukraine from 1994.
