Deputies may lose immunity in the spring of 2019.
The Verkhovna Rada should adopt laws on deprivation of parliamentary immunity in the spring of 2019.
This was told by MP, the President’s representative in Parliament Iryna Lutsenko.
According to her, the Committee has not yet proceeded to analyze the constitutional court’s decision on parliamentary and presidential bills.
“But probably in the autumn of deputies by 226 votes to pre-approve the proposal to amend the Constitution. I think we are going to vote personally, our faction, and for parliamentary law, and presidential law – not to “jumped”, and then not to say: that’s for not voted, and voted. Our position is to vote”, – said Lutsenko.
The politician explained that, according to the procedure, after the approval by Parliament of amendments to the Constitution, the bills will vote inheriting session – in the spring of 2019.
“We will vote for the lifting of parliamentary immunity. Then there will be six months before the parliamentary elections. I think everyone will find these voices,” she said.
