Ukraine is becoming supporters of de-occupation of Crimea.
President Petro Poroshenko welcomed the adoption of a resolution by the UN General Assembly about human rights violations in the Crimea, and thanked its sponsors and supported it with their votes of delegates.
About this he wrote in Facebook.
“I’m thankful for the real friends of the Ukrainian Crimea as the sponsors of the resolution and those who supported it with their votes. Hybrid despite Moscow’s attempts to close the Crimean issue, the international front of de-occupation of the Crimea is growing”, – he wrote.
The President also stressed that Russia is not to avoid responsibility.
“Despite the brutal repression of the Kremlin, human freedom and dignity not to break down. Despite the blatant manipulation, crimes of the Kremlin do not hide. How not to avoid international responsibility for them – neither the customers nor the organizers nor the performers,” wrote Poroshenko.
According to him, adopted by the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, the resolution is a strong signal to the aggressor as the occupying power that the international rule of law, truth and justice.
“Crimea is Ukraine!”, – summed up the head of the state.
