President Petro Poroshenko was awarded the State prize named after Alexander Dovzhenko national artist, laureate of the National prize. Shevchenko, Hero Of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva.
The award she received for outstanding contribution to the development of Ukrainian cinema, the press center of the presidential administration.
It is noted that the size of the awards this year will be two hundred thousand UAH.
Moreover, grants from Poroshenko for the creation and implementation of creative projects in the field of cinematography also received the young leaders.
In particular, Director Olga Gavrilova will receive a grant in the amount of 59 thousand UAH for the production of animated short film “the World opposite”, Director Maxim Nakonechny – 68 thousand UAH for the production of short films “New year’s eve in the family circle”, and the Director of Ernes of Sariharjo – 93 thousand UAH for the production of short fiction film “the Nail”.
