“The situation in parts of Eastern Ukraine is dramatic. We have clear evidence that purposefully attack civilians. Putin is creating the Ukrainian Aleppo,” he said.

According to him, Ukraine has tried many agreements, but Moscow did not fulfill.

“In recent years I’ve tried many agreements, but Russia has never fulfilled them in reality. It’s very simple: if Putin complies with Minsk if the troops finally will be withdrawn from our country, there will be peace. But now, unfortunately, this is not” – he said.

Poroshenko also accused Putin of violating the Minsk agreements.

“The reason that the Minsk peace agreement is not working, has a name – Putin. We in Ukraine did everything for the world, changed the laws, and abide by the agreement, but Russia continues to murder. The promises offered by the government of Russia, are being violated every day,” – said the President.

He noted that sanctions against Moscow should be expanded, and Russia’s recognition of the documents LDNR – the main evidence of influence of Russia.

“It is unthinkable that Russia now officially recognizes passports from the occupied territories. This is the greatest evidence of Russian influence”.
