On 25 November the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak visited the ATO area.
Poltorak, addressed the leadership of the ATO headquarters on the operational situation on the contact line. The Minister and the leadership of the ATO discussed the current problematic issues of the life of the troops raised for duty in the ATO area.
Poltorak awarded the commander of one of the brigades which military personnel to perform combat missions in the Luhansk region honors of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine “Firearms” – a 9-mm pistol. Also the defense Minister presented awards to the commander of the brigade artillery group and commander of amphibious assault battalion.
In addition, the decision of the Minister of defense was awarded more than 200 soldiers from various units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who serve in the ATO area.
