Russia has organized and carried out more than 7 thousand cyber attacks on Ukraine for three years. This was stated by the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak during a briefing in Ottawa following the meeting with the Minister of national defence of Canada Hargita Singh Sajana.
As the press service of the defense Ministry, Ukraine will cooperate with Canada on many issues, including related to cyber defence.
“It’s very topical, considering that in the last three years the Russian Federation has carried out more than seven thousand cyber-attacks on Ukraine. I believe this area of cooperation is also extremely important for the General discussion and counter threats”, – said Poltorak.
