On the line of clashes in the Donbas today are 37 thousand Ukrainian troops, said defense Minister Stepan Poltorak.
These figures Poltorak announced for military training on February 22 in Kiev, the press service of the defense Ministry.
According to the Minister, part of the personnel is on duty, training centers, grounds and classrooms, “where they study the experience gained and draw conclusions”.
“We will be able to protect Ukraine and to fulfill all the tasks facing the Armed forces. Evidence of this is the 72 brigade and other units, which in the example of the Town have shown that they know how to fight and are ready for their state to give their lives and sacrifice their health,” – said Poltorak.
