The man took a knife, got it, wanted to use.
On December 5 in Kiev, the police detained the man, who pulled a knife while in the crowd of protesters. Later he stated that he is a journalist.
This was announced by Director of Department for communications of the Ministry of internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko on his page on Facebook.
“Dear journalists, covering the tumultuous events on the streets never do so as this criminal and pseudojournalism: took a knife, got it, wanted to use it and when… it started to stall – dropped and started screaming “I Have no knife, I’m a journalist!”, – he wrote.
Shevchenko also published video of the incident and called on journalists to try to distinguish themselves from the crowd special jackets and press cards.
The detainee Igor Rudich already posted on his page in Facebook photo of his identity “Ukchris-Nfo”.
