Pole for the first time in history crossed the Baltic sea. Video

Sebastian Karas overcame 100 km, between Kołobrzeg and Bornholm.

Pole Sebastian Karas became the first person in history who managed to cross the Baltic sea. Swimmer defeated 100 miles separating the Polish city of kołobrzeg and the Danish island of Bornholm, of 28.5 hours.

Master of sport was accompanied by a small vessel. On some stretches of the path the height of the waves reached 2 meters, the water temperature did not exceed 20 degrees.
This was the second attempt by the poles to cross the Baltic sea. Last year he interrupted the race after eight hours after the start in connection with the condition.

26-year-old Polish swimmer was born in Elblag. In 2015, he crossed the 41-mile English channel in 8 hours and 48 minutes setting a record of Poland.
