On 13 September in Gdansk (Poland) arrived the next batch of U.S. military equipment in the framework of the strategy of NATO to strengthen the Eastern borders.
More than 1,000 American weapons, including Abrams tanks, infantry fighting vehicles Bradley and self-propelled howitzers, arrived at the port, the newspaper writes.
Note, in 2017 in Poland were deployed units of the U.S. army to strengthen the Eastern borders of NATO and in response to aggressive actions from Russia.
Earlier it was reported that the exercises “West-2017” will be held from 14 to 20 September. In total, they will participate up to 12 700 soldiers, of which about 10 thousand – in Belarus. About 3,000 of them – from Russia. It is planned to use the maneuvers to 680 pieces of equipment.
