The Polish government asked the Ukrainian authorities to reduce on the border the flow of cars registered in Poland, but used by the Ukrainians.
“Our (Polish — ed.) the government wants to restrict the movement of vehicles, the mass was in Poland”, — stated in the message.
The poles calculated that depending on the season, up to 45% of the border traffic is on cars registered in Poland, but used by the Ukrainians.
“According to the Ministry of internal Affairs and administration, vehicles registered in Poland and used by the citizens of Ukraine, ranging from 38 to 45 per cent of the border traffic,” — writes Gazeta Prawna.
In addition, the Polish government intends to limit artificially created mass movements across the border, which provoked the cars with “plates”.

Some border crossings have been forced to open additional “point” register, and the border guards and customs officers complain of the fatigue from the extra work. The owners of these cars have to leave Ukraine even six times per month, which creates excessive stress on the points of entry and exit.
According to the newspaper, the poles demanded that Ukraine change the rules, and the Ukrainian side said that at present “work continues on legal settlement of this situation”, after which the Polish authorities will be informed.
