Perhaps the most famous city, completely surrounded steep canyon in Kamenets-Podolsk. Smotrich cinched around the island’s Old town, a tight loop. From the sky this loop is similar to the letter omega or the heart. One of the main tourist magnets of Ukraine, Kamenetz is famous for its Old fortress, the oldest surviving town halls in Ukraine, the Cathedral of Peter and Paul Church and Armenian quarters of the old houses. To see the beauty of the canyon is easier with the balloon: Kamenetz is considered the capital of Ukrainian Aeronautics, and fly here at any day, would be the weather.
Canyon Ternasky, Vrublivtsy
River canyon Ternovki between the village Kitaygorod and Vrublivtsy Kamenetz-Podolsk district can be well seen except from the air: the river is covered with forests.
Canyon Jurina, Chervonograd
One of the most beautiful places of Ukraine – the ruins of the castle Poninskiy non-existent in the city for Chervonograd (usual Ukrainian ear transcription “Chervonograd” is confusing because of the similarity of name with the mining city in the Lviv region). The hill on which stand the ruins of the Palace of the Dominican Church, girds the river Dzhuryn. But most of the tourists come here not so much because of the architecture, but because of the nature near the castle Dzhuryn falls in your canyon a massive 16-meter waterfall.
Canyon rivers Sorcha and Sara-Lunga
Dniester canyon is not alone in its glory: most of its tributaries in this area also have though not very long, but very beautiful canyons. Two tiny rivers Sarah-Lunga and Sorcha are combined into one for only a hundred meters from the confluence of the Dniester. This wonder is located in Kelmenetsky district, Chernivtsi region., and civilized entrances to it just yet. However, beauty can be a few seconds to see from the window of diesel train Hrechany – Larga.
Canyons of the Zbruch and Dniester, Trenches
The small village of Okopy (once the Trenches of the Mountain of the Holy Trinity) on the border of Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions lies on a narrow isthmus between the two ravines – Dniester and Zbruchanske. Here is preserved a modest Church of the XVII century and the remains of the fortress gate.
Canyon Zbruch, Kudryntsi
On the high banks of the Zbruch preserved castle ruins. Fortress in the village of Kudryntsi, Borshchiv district, Ternopil region looks very romantic, but the tourists get to the castle infrequently due to the usual provincial off-road.

Canyon Zbruch, Skala-Podil’s’ka
The town of Skala-Podil’s’ka in Ternopil region were once called the Rock for Zbruch. Up to the present day in the Rock preserved late Gothic Church, the remains of the estate of the governors of Galicia Goluchowski and the ruins of a medieval castle. Once an Outpost in the Rock had become a fortress in Kamenetz-Podolsk, but a long string of troubles – attacks, sieges, fires, and even lightning – marked the end of former glory in the XVIII century. The ruins, however, look very interesting today.

Locks is not only rich in Zbruch. Near the confluence of the Zhvanchyk river the Dniester river in the village of Zhvanets Kamyanets-Podilskyi district, rise the ruins of medieval fortifications.
The Canyon Of The Dniester, Zalischyky
One of the most iconic, famous places of the Dniester canyon — the loop of the river around the city center zalishchyky in the Ternopil region, tomato is the capital of Ukraine. Due to the extremely mild climate the town was a popular climatic resort in the period between the First and Second world wars. The rest are all the elite of the Commonwealth, and on the equipped beaches even wanted to plant palm trees. In those years in Zaleschiki cultivated the vine, and now in all the neighboring villages the land is not visible due to greenhouses: here massively grow early vegetables.
The Dnister Canyon, Zvenigorod
Once Zvenigorod was the mighty castle, today it is a tiny village where no buses go. However, the sides of the river, the scenery is lovely: Zvenigorodskaya detachment of the Silurian – geological monument of nature. In addition, the village has preserved the old Church and the lovely Palace (the first third of the twentieth century).
Canyon Mukti
Another little river, which is near the confluence of the Dniester turns into written beauty. About Horishni Meadowlands learned the whole country, meanwhile they are in their suffering because of Communist topography not alone. The village of Oktyabrsky, the suburb of Kamenetz-Podolsk, was returned to the historical name Muksha Kitaygorodskaya and now the residents are asked to call them after a local Orthodox Trinity Church and all kinds of refuse from a simple Podolsk stream.
