Photos of the new crossover Seat Arona “leaked” to the Network

The debut of new items expected this fall.

Image 2018 SEAT Arona today leaked online. Posted below Ateca, Arona compact SUV is expected to arrive in European dealerships at the end of this year, with the MQB architecture and style of Ibiza. But, actually, it is positioned as a brand new car, a Spanish analogue of the Audi Q2 and the future of the Volkswagen T-Roc.

Features of exterior design “twin” Ibiza led lights that dominate the front and rear, grille, showing a 3D-like pattern of mesh, plastic lining on the wheel arches, two-tone paint scheme and black a-pillars, creating the impression of a floating roof.

Upon closer inspection it is quite easy to notice that two of the three images of the car have the style of FR. This black casing rear view mirrors, and two tip exhaust, larger wheels and sportier front fascia. Images of the interior has not got. But it is easy to imagine by analogy with the Ibiza. Expect quite a sharp design and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

But the list of powertrain is quite predictable: 1.0-litre three-cylinder unit, a 1.5 liter TSI Evo and 1.6-liter TDI, paired with a five – or six-step “mechanics” or seven-step “automatic” DSG of the Volkswagen Group. The 1.5-liter unit will be at the top of the model line, with a capacity of 150 HP and 340 Nm torque.

After the debut of Arona, which is likely to happen this autumn, SEAT will present the third SUV that do not have names yet, though I do believe the upcoming seven-seater will be called Alora.
