People’s deputies included a question of the CEC in the agenda

The Verkhovna Rada has included the issue of the appointment of the new composition of the CEC agenda on Thursday.

Recall, July 5, during the rating voting, the question about the dismissal and appointment of members of the CEC supported only 189 deputies. After that, the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko refused to participate in voting.

The failure of the Rada to vote for a change of CEC members to do with a fear that most of the new composition will be controlled by the President of Petro Poroshenko.

Candidates for the posts of new members of the CEC were submitted by the President on 5 February, but before April candidates passed special checks. In the current composition of the CEC, there are only two of the 15 member whose term of office has not expired.

Poroshenko submitted on 13 vacancies 14 candidates. The faction “the Opposition bloc” not shown in this view.
