In Rio de Janeiro for carnival during a speech to the crowd crashed into the platform with the dancers injured 20 people.
Eight of the injured were hospitalized, three are in critical condition.
According to eyewitnesses, the platform with dancing people crashed the fence that separated the crowd from the sidewalk. Parade participants, spectators and journalists are trapped between the fence and the car.
According to the preliminary version, the driver of the platform is not lost control due to slippery roads.
Despite the incident, the carnival will continue until March 1. “We’re disappointed. I don’t remember that something like this has happened before. We are sad due to the fact that there were injured people. But we must fight it and continue show”, – said the member of the Samba school, Luciano Martan.
